<br /> DES:djk 01;/25/94 (082/37) <br /> o RIG I N A L 6/6/94 <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 12197 12197 <br /> ---------- <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING FRANKLIN STREET AREA PLAN <br /> WHEREAS, in light of redevelopment activities in the <br /> vicinity of, and other indications of potential land use changes <br /> within, that area of the City of Redwood City bounded by El <br /> Camino Real, Jefferson Avenue, Middlefield Road and Maple Street <br /> (the "Franklin Street Area") , this Council, pursuant to <br /> Resolution No. 11996, adopted June 7 , 1993, commissioned <br /> preparation of an area plan to guide land use policy <br /> implementation; and <br /> WHEREAS, said study, entitled the "Franklin Street Area <br /> Plan" prepared by LCP Associates, planning consultants, has been <br /> prepared in cooperation with the Franklin Street Area Plan <br /> Committee; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed said Plan and <br /> recommends its approval; and <br /> WHEREAS, on June 6, 1994, an informational public hearing <br /> was held on the question of approval of said Plan; and <br /> WHEREAS, this Council desires to approve the Plan as an <br /> expression of concept for the development and implementation of <br /> land use policies within the Franklin Street Area; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> AS FOLLOWS: <br /> That certain document entitled, "Franklin Street Area Plan", <br /> prepared by LCP Associates, planning consultants, dated January, <br />
