<br /> JAH:dft 5'18/94 (025/36) <br /> o RIG I N A L 5/23/94 <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 12189 <br /> ---------- <br /> RESOLUTION DESIGNATING A SURVEY AREA WITHIN THE CITY OF <br /> REDWOOD CITY PURSUANT TO COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT LAW <br /> WHEREAS, Article 2, Chapter 4, Part 1, Division 24 of the <br /> Health and Safety Code, a portion of the Community Redevelopment <br /> Law, grants authority to a legislative body by resolution, to <br /> designate an area within a city as a survey area, for the purpose <br /> of studying said area to determine if a redevelopment project or <br /> projects within said area is or are feasible; and <br /> WHEREAS, this Council has found and determined that the area <br /> of the City of Redwood City hereinafter described requires study <br /> to determine if a redevelopment project or projects within said <br /> area would be feasible; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> AS FOLLOWS: <br /> l. That certain area within the City of Redwood City, the <br /> boundaries of which area are more specifically described in <br /> Exhibit "A", attached hereto and incorporated herein by <br /> reference, is hereby designated as a survey area ( "Survey Area") <br /> pursuant to Section 33310 of the Health & Safety Code. <br /> 2 . The Planning Co:m.mission is hereby authorized and <br /> directed to conduct a study of the Survey Area in accordance with <br /> the Community Redevelopment Law, to determine if a redevelopment <br /> project or projects within said Survey Area is or are feasible. <br /> 3 . The Planning Commission is hereby further directed to <br /> select one or more project areas, or amendments to existing <br /> 'ï'-- .. <br />
