<br /> DES:djk r~/13/94 (075/37) <br /> o RIG I N A L 5/23/94 <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 12187 <br /> <br /> ---------- <br /> RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR CANYON ROAD - OAK KNOLL <br /> DRIVE STREET IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT; AUTHORIZING <br /> EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT FOR SAID WORK; AND DIRECTING <br /> RETURN OF SECURITY DEPOSITS <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 12164, adopted April 11, <br /> 1994, the City Clerk advertised for bids for the Canyon Road - <br /> Oak Knoll Drive Street Improvements Project, Redwood City, <br /> California; and <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to said advertisement, eight bids were <br /> received for the performance of said work and filed with the City <br /> Clerk; and <br /> WHEREAS, Interstate Grading and Paving, Inc. of South San <br /> Francisco, California, is the lowest responsible bidder and it is <br /> the intention and desire of this Council to accept said bid of <br /> Interstate Grading and Paving, Inc. ; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> AS FOLLOWS: <br /> 1. The bid of Interstate Grading and Paving, Inc. , in the <br /> amount of One Million Thirty-two Thousand Ninety-eight and 89/100 <br /> Dollars ($1,032,098.89) , computed in accordance with said <br /> bidder's proposal dated May 11, 1994, for the Canyon Road - Oak <br /> Knoll Drive Street Improvement Project, is hereby accepted, and <br /> said bidder is hereby found and declared to be the lowest <br /> responsible bidder for said work. <br /> 2 .
