<br /> DES:djk 05/05/94 (071/37) <br /> o R I c; I N A L j/16/94 <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 12181 <br /> ---------- <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br /> PURCHASE DOCUMENTS FOR THE ACQUISITION OF ONE COMPACT <br /> PICKUP TRUCK <br /> WHEREAS, written bids without public advertisement were <br /> solicited for the purchase of one ( 1 ) compact pickup truck for <br /> the Department of Parks, Recreation and Community Services; and <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to said solicitation three bids were <br /> received; and <br /> WHEREAS, Fremont Ford of Newark, California, is the lowest <br /> responsible bidder; and <br /> WHEREAS, this Council desires to accept the bid of said <br /> Fremont Ford; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> AS FOLLOWS: <br /> 1. The bid of Fremont Ford for the sale of one (1) <br /> compact pickup truck to the City of Redwood City in the amount of <br /> Ten Thousand Four Hundred Eleven and 49/100 Dollars ($10,411.49) <br /> in accordance with said bidder's proposal dated May 2, 1994, is <br /> hereby accepted, and said bidder is hereby declared to be the <br /> lowest responsible bidder in response to solicitation for bids <br /> without advertisement for said purchase. <br /> 2. Any and all informalities in the aforementioned bid of <br /> Fremont Ford is, and each of them are, hereby waived. <br /> 3. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to <br /> execute such purchase orders or other purchase documents (in form <br /> approved by the City Attorney) to effectuate the purchase <br /> approved hereby. <br /> * * * <br /> .
