<br /> DES:djk OS/05/94 (070/37) <br /> o RIG I N A L 5/16/94 <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 12180 <br /> <br /> ---------- <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br /> AGREEMENT FOR PROFESSIONAL ENGINEERING SERVICES - <br /> MUNICIPAL SERVICES CENTER ABOVE-GROUND FUEL TANK <br /> PROJECT <br /> (PRACTICON ASSOCIATES) <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City proposes to replace <br /> above-ground fuel tanks at the Municipal Services Center which <br /> were previously underground (the "Project") ; and <br /> WHEREAS, in connection with the Project, the City of Redwood <br /> City requires professional engineering services; and <br /> WHEREAS, Practicon Associates of Palo Alto, California <br /> represents that it is qualified on the basis of experience and <br /> expertise to perform the aforesaid services required for the <br /> Project; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> AS FOLLOWS: <br /> That certain agreement entitled "Agreement - Professional <br /> Engineering Services - Municipal Services Center Above-Ground <br /> Fuel Tank Project" (form dated 04/28/94), by and between the City <br /> of Redwood City, a municipal corporation of the State of <br /> California and practicon Associates, for the performance of the <br /> above-mentioned services, a copy of which agreement is on file in <br /> the office of the City Clerk, to which copy reference is hereby <br /> made for the full particulars thereof, is hereby approved and the <br /> City Manager and City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to <br /> execute and to attest thereto, respectively, said agreement for <br /> and on behalf of the City of Redwood City. <br /> * * * <br /> ~'-~._...._--_..'-"-"--"'--"----'-"'-----'----~ .---,--------- --.....-........ <br />
