<br /> DES:djk 04/22/94 (065/37) <br /> o RIG I N A L 5/2/94 <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 12174 <br /> ---------- <br /> RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR BRIDGE PARKWAY BRIDGE <br /> SEISMIC RETROFITTING PROJECT; AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br /> AGREEMENT FOR SAID WORK; AND DIRECTING RETURN OF <br /> SECURITY DEPOSITS <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 12150, adopted February <br /> 28, 1994, the City Clerk advertised for bids for the Bridge <br /> Parkway Bridge Seismic Retrofitting Project, Redwood City, <br /> California; and <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to said advertisement, five bids were <br /> received for the performance of said work and filed with the City <br /> Clerk; and <br /> WHEREAS, William P. Young, Inc. of Foster City, California, <br /> is the lowest responsible bidder and it is the intention and <br /> desire of this Council to accept said bid of said William P. <br /> Young, Inc. ; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> AS FOLLOWS: <br /> l. The bid of William P. Young, Inc. , in the amount of <br /> Four Hundred Twenty-one Thousand Seven Hundred Twenty-five and <br /> No/100 Dollars ($421,725.00) , computed in accordance with said <br /> bidder's proposal dated March 30, 1994, for the Bridge Parkway <br /> Bridge Seismic Retrofitting Project, is hereby accepted, and said <br /> bidder is hereby found and declared to be the lowest responsible <br /> bidder for said work. <br /> 2.
