<br /> DES:djk 04/01/94 (059/37) <br /> o RIG I N A L <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 12163 <br /> ---------- <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br /> PURCHASE DOCUMENTS FOR THE PURCHASE OF A PHOTOCOPIER <br /> FOR THE POLICE DEPARTMENT <br /> WHEREAS, written bids without public advertisement were <br /> solicited for the purchase of a photocopier for the Redwood City <br /> Police Department's Records Unit; and <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to said solicitation three bids were <br /> received; and <br /> WHEREAS, Lanier Worldwide, Inc. of South San Francisco, <br /> California, is the lowest responsible bidder; and <br /> WHEREAS, this Council desires to accept the bid of said <br /> Lanier Corporation; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> AS FOLLOWS: <br /> l. The bid of Lanier Worldwide, Inc. for the sale of a <br /> Lanier Model 6483 photocopier to the City of Redwood City in the <br /> amount of Sixteen Thousand Eight Hundred Fifteen and 50/100 <br /> Dollars ($16,815.50) in accordance with said bidder's proposal <br /> dated March 31, 1994, is hereby accepted, and said bidder is <br /> hereby declared to be the lowest responsible bidder in response <br /> to solicitation for bids without advertisement for said <br /> equipment. <br /> .. _.._--~._- ..¡--.-.......-.. .._"."..._,,-~ <br />
