<br /> DES:,-"'l< 03/15/94 (054/37) <br /> o RIG I N A L <br /> - 3/28/94 <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 12156 <br /> ---------- <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br /> PURCHASE DOCUMENTS FOR STRUCTURAL FIREFIGHTING <br /> PROTECTIVE CLOTHING <br /> WHEREAS, written bids without public advertisement were <br /> solicited for the purchase of structural fire fighting protective <br /> clothing for the Fire Department; and <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to said solicitation three bids were <br /> received; and <br /> WHEREAS, L.N. Curtis of Oakland, California, is the lowest <br /> responsible bidder; and <br /> WHEREAS, this Council desires to accept the bid of said <br /> L.N. Curtis; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> AS FOLLOWS: <br /> l. The bid of L.N. Curtis for the sale of structural <br /> fire fighting protective clothing to the City of Redwood City in <br /> the amount of Forty-nine Thousand Seven Hundred Eight and 40/100 <br /> Dollars ($49,708.40) in accordance with said bidder's proposal <br /> dated February 9, 1994, is hereby accepted, and said bidder is <br /> hereby declared to be the lowest responsible bidder in response <br /> to solicitation for bids without advertisement for said purchase. <br /> 2. Any and all informalities in the aforementioned bid of <br /> L.N. Curtis is, and each of them are, hereby waived. <br /> 3.
