RESOLUTION NO. 12142 <br /> DES:djk n2/04/94 (042/34) <br /> o RIG I N A L 2/14/94 <br /> RES 0 L UTI 0 N N O. 12142 <br /> ---------- <br /> RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR 1993-1994 COST SHARED <br /> SIDEWALK REPAIR PROJECT; AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br /> AGREEMENT FOR SAID WORK; AND DIRECTING RETURN OF <br /> SECURITY DEPOSITS <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 12115, adopted January <br /> 10, 1994, the City Clerk advertised for bids for the 1993-1994 <br /> Cost Shared Sidewalk Repair Project; and <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to said advertisement, seven bids were <br /> received for the performance of said work and filed with the City <br /> Clerk; and <br /> WHEREAS, George Bianchi Construction, Inc. of San Jose, <br /> California, is the lowest responsible bidder and it is the <br /> intention and desire of this Council to award said bid to George <br /> Bianchi Construction, Inc. ; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> AS FOLLOWS: <br /> 1. The bid of George Bianchi Construction, Inc. , in the <br /> amount of Ninety Thousand Two Hundred Fifty and No/100 Dollars <br /> ($90,250.00) , computed in accordance with said bidder's proposal <br /> dated February 1 , 1994, for the 1993-1994 Cost Shared Sidewalk <br /> Repair Project, is hereby accepted and said bidder is hereby <br /> found and declared to be the lowest responsible bidder for said <br /> work. <br /> 2.
