RESOLUTION NO. 12110 <br /> DES:djk J2/06/93 (017/37) <br /> RIG I N A L <br /> 12/13/93 <br /> RES 0 L UTI 0 N N O. 12110 <br /> ---------- <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING PURCHASE OF 93 ELECTRONIC PARKING <br /> METERS AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF PURCHASE DOCUMENTS <br /> IN CONNECTION THEREWITH <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 2.76 of the Redwood City Code, <br />this Council has suspended the requirements of Article VII of <br />Chapter 2 of the Code of the City of Redwood City relating to <br />competitive bidding for the hereinafter described purchase; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Department of Community Development, <br />Engineering Division, requires 93 electronic parking meters for <br />the new Downtown Parking Structure; and <br /> WHEREAS, this Council desires to approve the purchase of <br />said 93 electronic parking meters in an amount not to exceed <br />Twenty-one Thousand Seven Hundred Eleven and 33/100 Dollars <br />($21,711.33) ; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> 1. This Council hereby approves the purchase of 93 <br />electronic parking meters for use in the new Downtown Parking <br />Structure from Duncan Industries in an amount not to exceed <br />Twenty-one Thousand Seven Hundred Eleven and 33/100 Dollars <br />($21,711.33) . <br /> 2.
