RESOLUTION NO. 12106 <br /> DES:djk 11/23/93 (012/37) <br /> o RIG I N A L 12/6/93 <br /> RES 0 L UTI 0 N N O. 12106 <br /> ---------- <br /> RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR PURCHASE OF OPTICAL DISK <br /> RECORDS MANAGEMENT AND STORAGE SYSTEM; AND AUTHORIZING <br /> EXECUTION OF PURCHASE DOCUMENTS THEREFOR <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Section 2.65 of the <br />Code of the City of Redwood City, the City Manager caused public <br />notice inviting bids to be published for the purchase of an <br />optical disk records management and storage system to be used to <br />simplify records storage, management, retrieval and availability <br />of police files; and <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to said publication two bids were <br />received; and <br /> WHEREAS, Western Office Systems Corporation of San Mateo, <br />California is the lowest responsible bidder and it is the <br />intention and desire of this Council to accept the bid thereof; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> 1. The bid of Western Office Systems Corporation, in the <br />total amount of Seventy-six Thousand No/I00 Dollars ($76,000.00) , <br />computed in accordance with said bidder's proposal dated November <br />3, 1993 for the sale of an optical disk records management and <br />storage system, which bid is on file in the office of the City <br />Clerk, to which reference is hereby made for the full particulars <br />thereof, is hereby accepted, and said bidder is hereby found and <br />declared to be the lowest responsible bidder for the sale of said <br />system to the City. <br /> . ,,,"',",,..,.,,., ""-"",,, '''(--..''''.'..' <br />
