RESOLUTION NO. 12104 <br /> DES:djk 11/~q/93 (009/37) <br /> o RIG I N A L 11/29/93 <br /> RES 0 L UTI 0 N N O. 12104 <br /> ---------- <br /> RESOLUTION DECLARING CERTAIN DESCRIBED CITY-OWNED <br /> PROPERTY SURPLUS; AND AUTHORIZING CONVEYANCE THEREOF <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City owns certain personal <br />property assigned to the Fire Department, consisting of nine (9 ) <br />Motorola Centracom Dispatch Consoles; and <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Government Code Section 37351 and <br />Redwood City Charter Section 3,(d), the City may dispose of <br />surplus property no longer required or needed for present or <br />prospective municipal or public purposes without sale; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Assessor has appraised said surplus <br />property and has determined that the current reasonable market <br />value of the total of each of the surplus items to be conveyed as <br />a unit is less than Five Thousand Dollars ($5,000.00) ; and <br /> WHEREAS, it is the intention and desire of this Council to <br />declare said property surplus and authorize its conveyance to the <br />County of San Mateo in accordance with Section 37351 of the <br />Government Code and Section 3, (d) of the Charter of the City of <br />Redwood City; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> 1. This Council hereby finds, determines and declares that <br />nine (9) Motorola Centracom Dispatch Consoles are surplus; that <br />they are no longer necessary or required for municipal or public <br />purposes; and that the appraised value of the total of each of <br /> , ""_".H ""''''-'',.,--,.-r-----.--' ."" <br />
