RESOLUTION NO. 121202 <br /> DES:djk 11/1~/93 (007/37) <br /> o RIG I N A L 11/29/93 <br />- <br /> RES 0 L UTI 0 N N O. 12102 <br /> ---------- <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br /> PURCHASE DOCUMENTS FOR THE MODIFICATION OF PLAYGROUND <br /> EQUIPMENT AT HOOVER, MARLIN AND DOVE BEEGER PARKS <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 2.76 of the Redwood City Code, <br />this Council has suspended the requirements of Article VII of <br />Chapter 2 of the Code of the City of Redwood City relating to <br />competitive bidding for the hereinafter described purchase; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Department of Parks, Recreation and Community <br />Services requires modification of playground equipment required <br />under the Americans with Disabilities Act ("ADA" ) at Hoover, <br />Marlin and Dove Beeger Parks in the City of Redwood City; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Department of Parks, Recreation and Community <br />Services has determined that Ross Recreation Equipment Company, <br />Inc. of Santa Rosa, California, the original supplier of the <br />playground equipment, has offered to modify said playground <br />equipment required under the ADA at Hoover, Marlin and Dove <br />Beeger Parks; <br /> WHEREAS, this Council desires to approve said ADA playground <br />equipment modifications at Hoover, Marlin and Dove Beeger Parks <br />in an amount not to exceed Eighteen Thousand Six Hundred Fifty- <br />seven and No/100 Dollars ($18,657.00) ; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> 1.
