<br />,-. <br /> <br />AGREEMENT r OR INFORMATION TECHNOLùGY SUPPORT <br /> <br />Between the City of Redwood City and the City 'I Burlingame <br /> <br />The AGREEMENT, entered into on the r~day of , 1999, <br />by and between the cities of Redwood CI y ("Redwood City' and Burli ame <br /> <br />("Burlingame"). <br /> <br /> <br />Recital <br /> <br />Whereas Burlingame and Redwood City have some financial applications <br />running on the Universe (or similar) database. <br /> <br />Whereas Burlingame and Redwood City have Windows-based desktop <br />computers and NT network servers. <br /> <br />Whereas Burlingame desires to purchase Information Technology (IT) <br />support from Redwood City. <br /> <br />The parties aqree as follows: <br /> <br />1) Burlingame will pay Redwood City the sum of twenty-three thousand, seventeen <br />dollars and 50 cents ($23,017.50) for 341 hours of IT support provided prior to <br />July 1, 1998. <br /> <br />2) Redwood City will provide services for applications and equipment as indicated <br />on Exhibit "A" (attached hereto and incorporated by this reference) at a cost of <br />$67.50 an hour to cover salary, benefits, and overhead costs of the IT analysts. <br />This hourly rate will be reviewed annually and adjusted as necessary on July 1st <br />of each year. Burlingame will pay for these services on a monthly basis. <br /> <br />3) Redwood City IT support hours will include, but not be limited to: <br /> <br />a) Consulting support such as discussing available options, finding and. <br />recommending solutions, and working with outside vendors as needed. <br /> <br />b) Providing hardware and software trouble-shooting for desktop computers, NT <br />servers, HP Laserjet printers, network interface cards, hubs, and switches. <br /> <br />c) Correcting network problems and communication problems between the host <br />computer and desktop communication software. <br /> <br />d) New and replacement hardware, components, and all software are paid for <br />by Burlingame. Cabling for the network done by outside contractors is paid <br />for by Burlingame. <br /> <br />e) Desktop software support includes original installations, re-installations, <br />software upgrades and configuration changes for the servers and desktop <br /> <br />01/21/99 <br /> <br />Page 1 <br /> <br />r.' . <br />
