06/26/2017 <br />RESOLUTION NO. 15605 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />REDWOOD CITY ADOPTING THE BUDGET OF THE CITY OF <br />REDWOOD CITY FOR FISCAL YEAR JULY 1, 2017 - JUNE 30, 2018 <br />AND PROVIDING FOR THE APPROPRIATION AND EXPENDITURE OF <br />ALL SUMS SET FORTH IN SAID BUDGET <br />WHEREAS, in accordance with the Charter of the City of Redwood City, the City <br />Manager has submitted to the Council of Redwood City a proposed annual budget for <br />Fiscal Year July 1, 2017 - June 30, 2018; and <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to the Charter, after duly noticed public hearing, the Council <br />has approved the budget and it has been certified as the Budget of the City for Fiscal Year <br />2017-18; and <br />WHEREAS, it is the intention of the Council of Redwood City to adopt the <br />certified copy of the Budget presently on file in the office of the City Clerk. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />REDWOOD CITY AS FOLLOWS: <br />SECTION 1. Adoption of Budaet. The Budget for the Fiscal Year July 1, 2017 - <br />June 30, 2018, approved by the Council and certified by the City Clerk and City <br />Manager, presently on file in the office of the City Clerk, is adopted. The Budget is <br />contained in the document entitled "Recommended Budget FY 2017-18." <br />SECTION 2. ADDrooriations. The amounts designated for subprograms in the <br />Budget document's "Operating Programs" section are appropriated to each designated <br />subprogram (excepting the Successor Agency subprogram which is being adopted and <br />appropriated by separate action of the Successor Agency to the dissolved Redwood City <br />Redevelopment Agency) and the amounts designated for capital projects listed in the <br />Budget document's "Capital Improvement Program" section are appropriated. The amounts <br />designated for the debt service payments listed in the document's "City Debt" section are <br />appropriated (except those for the Successor Agency's debt which are being adopted and <br />appropriated by a separate action of the Successor Agency to the dissolved Redwood City <br />Redevelopment Agency).The Beginning Balance in the Budget document's "Analysis of <br />Budget by Fund" and the Revenue Estimates for 2017-18 in the Budget document's <br />"Financial Summaries", including those for the Redwood City Public Financing Authority <br />and assessment and improvement districts but excepting those for the Successor Agency, <br />are appropriated. <br />Page 1 of 2 <br />ATTY/RESO.0064/CC RESO ADOPTING FY 17-18 BUDGET RESO.
