<br /> .. <br /> FXS:mge ,,8/01/95 (002/75) <br /> ORIGINAL <br /> A G R E E MEN T <br /> --------- <br /> REDWOOD CITY LIBRARY <br /> PROJECT READ <br /> (FAMILIES IN PARTNERSHIP PROGRAM) <br /> THIS AGREEMENT, made and entered into this 7~ day of <br /> ~ --- <br /> , 1992-.1 by and between the CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY, a municipal corporation of the State of California, <br />("City") and the REDWOOD CITY PUBLIC LIBRARY, acting by and <br />through the Library Board ("Contractor") ; <br /> WIT N E SSE T H: <br /> WHEREAS, Contractor, conducts a Families in Partnership <br />Program for residents of the City (the "Program"); and <br /> WHEREAS, Contractor has requested financial assistance in <br />order to conduct the Program for residents of City during the <br />fiscal year commencing July 1, 1995, and ending July 30, 1996; <br />and <br /> WHEREAS, City has reviewed said request and desires to <br />allocate to Contractor the sum of Five Thousand Two Hundred <br />Eleven and No/100 Dollars ($5,211.00) from its Community <br />Development Block Grant funds for the Program; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, the parties hereto agree as follows: <br /> 1. FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE. City shall allocate to <br />Contractor the sum of Five Thousand Two Hundred Eleven and No/100 <br />Dollars ($5,211.00) for exclusive use by Contractor during the <br />fiscal year commencing July 1, 1995, and ending June 30, 1996, <br />solely for the purposes described in paragraph 2. <br /> 2. USE OF FUNDS. Contractor shall use the funds provided <br />pursuant to paragraph 1 solely for the Program purposes described <br /> .,. <br />
