<br /> ORIGINAL <br /> (08/25/97) <br /> AGREEMENT <br /> Salvation Army (Teen Drop in Program) <br /> THIS AGREEMENT, made and entered into this 12~ day of <br /> çJ~r"L---, 1997, by and between the CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, a municipal <br />corporation of the State of California ("City") and Salvation Army (Teen Drop in Program), a <br />California nonprofit organization ("Contractor"); <br /> WIT N E SSE T H: <br /> WHEREAS, Contractor provides basic human necessities and personal counseling; and <br /> WHEREAS, Contractor has requested financial assistance in order to conduct the program <br />for residents of City during the fiscal year commencing July 1, 1997, and ending June 30, <br />1998; and <br /> WHEREAS, City has reviewed said request and desires to allocate to Contractor the sum of <br />Six Thousand and No/100 Dollars ($6,000); <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, the parties hereto do hereby agree as follows: <br /> 1 . FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE. City shall allocate to Contractor the sum of Six Thousand <br />and No/10O Dollars ($6,000) for exclusive use by Contractor during the fiscal year <br />commencing July 1, 1997, and ending June 30, 1998, solely for the purposes described in <br />paragraph 2. <br /> 2. USE OF FUNDS. Contractor shall use the funds provided pursuant to paragraph 1 <br />solely for the Program purposes described in Exhibit "A" (Contract Objectives) attached hereto <br />and by this reference incorporated herein. <br /> 3. CHANGES TO PROGRAM. No changes in the Program described in this agreement <br />which are funded by the financial assistance provided under paragraph 1 shall be made without <br />the prior written consent of City. <br /> - <br />
