(TEWCI) <br /> g!'r- <br />THIS AGREEMENT, made and entered into this . . day of <br />\ \OcIl''''Õ cD <br /> , 199$, by and between the CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, a municipal <br />corporation of the State of California ("City") and Target Education and Welfare Council, Inc. <br />(TEWCI), a California nonprofit corporation ("Contractor"); <br /> WIT N E SSE T H: <br />WHEREAS, Contractor provides a means to enhance the quality of life of the people of the <br />target community with particular emphasis on the elderly, ethnic minorities and low·income <br />families; and <br />WHEREAS, Contractor has requested financial assistance in order to conduct the program <br />for residents of City during the fiscal year commencing July 1, 1995, and ending June 30, <br />1996; and <br />WHEREAS, City has reviewed said request and desires to allocate to Contractor the sum of <br />Thirty-Five Thousand and No/100 Dollars ($35,000); <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the parties hereto do hereby agree as follows: <br />1 . FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE. City shall allocate to Contractor the sum of Thirty-Five <br />Thousand and No/100 Dollars ($35,000) for exclusive use by Contractor during the fiscal <br />year commencing July 1, 1995, and ending June 30, 1996, solely for the purposes described <br />in paragraph 2. <br />2. USE OF FUNDS. Contractor shall use the funds provided pursuant to paragraph 1 <br />solely for the Program purposes described in Exhibit "A" (Contract Objectives) attached hereto <br />and by this reference incorporated herein. <br />. <br /> - <br />
