DUPLICATE <br />' ORIGINAL <br />AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF <br />REDWOOD CITY AND THE REDWOOD CITY <br />ELEMENTARY SCHOOL DISTRICT TO EXCHANGE REAL PROPERTY <br />This Agreement is made this day o 1998, by and between the <br />Redevelopment Agency of the City of Redwood City, an agency formed under the laws of the State <br />of California ("Agency"), and the Redwood City Elementary School District, a public school district <br />in the County of San Mateo ("District"). <br />A. The City of Redwood City ("City") is currently the owner of certain real property <br />(hereinafter referred to as the "Bradford Street Property"), located within the City of Redwood City, <br />County of San Mateo, State of California, described in Exhibit A, attached hereto. District desires <br />to acquire the Bradford Street Property for the purpose of constructing District administrative <br />offices. <br />B. District is the owner of certain real property (hereinafter referred to as the "Broadway <br />Avenue Property"), located within the City of Redwood City, County of San Mateo, State of <br />California, described in Exhibit B, attached hereto. Agency desires to acquire the Broadway <br />Avenue Property for the purpose of redeveloping the property. <br />C. City proposes to transfer the Bradford Street Property to Agency, and Agency <br />proposes to acquire the Bradford Street Property, through a real estate acquisition agreement to be <br />entered into by City and Agency at or about the time the within Agreement is entered into, for the <br />purpose of facilitating the property exchange contemplated by this Agreement. <br />D. Agency is prepared to transfer title to the Bradford Street Property to District, and <br />
