Public Hearing - Recommended Annual Budget July 1 , <br />1988 - June 30, 1989 ( 401 -02) <br />Affidavit of Publication of Notice of Hearing is on file. <br />Report: Assistant Finance Director 7/15/88 <br />( See also Minutes of Budget Study Session 6/25/88) <br />Mayor Greenalch declared the public hearing open at 7:35 p.m. <br />Steve Howard, M.D., 907 Katherine, observed that cities no longer have funds <br />for many desirable projects which cannot continue to be supported by the <br />taxpayers, noting the $200,000 allocated for rehabilitation of Union <br />Cemetery. Dr. Howard suggested that support for such a worthy rehabilitation <br />might come from private sources of fund raising.
