AGREEMENT <br /> <br /> PROFESSIONAL CONSULTING SERVICES - <br /> REDWOOD SHORES PARKWAY WIDENING PHASE II PROJECT <br /> <br /> THIS AGREEMENT, made and entered into this ~)~J~ day of <br /> ! <br /> I . <br /> .~Zrj~. ,2001, by and between the CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, a <br />municipal corporation of the State of California, ("City"), and SMITH-EMERY <br />COMPANY of San Francisco, California ("Consultant"); <br /> <br /> WlTNESSETH: <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, City requires geotechnical and construction materials testing <br />and inspection services in connection with the Redwood Shores Parkway <br />Widening Phase II Project in the City of Redwood City (the "Project"); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, in connection with the Project, the City requires professional <br />consulting services; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Consultant represents that it possesses the experience, and <br />is qualified to perform the aforesaid services for the Project; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, the parties hereto agree as follows: <br /> <br /> 1. CONSULTANT'S SERVICES. Consultant shall perform geotechnical <br />and construction materials testing and inspection services described in Exhibit <br />"^" hereof, attached hereto and by this reference incorporated herein. <br /> <br /> 2. COMPENSATION; EXPENSES; PAYMENT.
