Prevailing wage rate policy (continued from 6/22/87)

Report:

Community Development Director 5/27/87

Executive Director Church presented the subject report, noting that the Agency
may continue to do what is currently required regarding prevailing wage rates;
may apply State prevailing wages with no exceptions; or may apply State or
federal standards with variations. Mr. Church noted that the last two
alternatives require a "trigger" definition. He pointed out that the federal
Davis-Bacon Act prevailing wage law is proposed to be amended, and it has been
suggested the threshold be increased to $1 million for certain projects.

MINUTE BOOK NO. 47

Page NO. 359
