Stangel <br />Regular Meeting <br />CALL TO ORDER - 7:30 p.m., Mayor Britschgi presiding <br />Board of Supervisors Chambers <br />401 Marshall Street <br />April 7, 1986 <br />7:30 p.m. <br />Councilmen present: Bury, Chandler, Claire, Mosher, Rhodes, Stangel and <br />Mayor Britschgi <br />Councilmen absent: None <br />Officials and staff present: Smith, Schri cker, Ramchandani , Hildebrand and <br />Addi ego, Schroeter, O'Brien <br />PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE - Councilman Stangel <br />INVOCATION - Reverend James Anderson <br />Messiah Lutheran Church <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES - City Council March 24, 1986 <br />Redevelopment Agency March 24, 1986 <br />M /S: Stangel /Claire to approve the subject Minutes as submitted. <br />Carried unanimously by voice vote, Vice Mayor Mosher and Councilman Bury <br />abstaining. <br />---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- <br />SPECIAL ORDERS OF THE DAY AND PUBLIC HEARINGS <br />Non - Agenda Item <br />Supervisor Tom Nolan, Member of the San Mateo County Board of Supervisors, <br />thanked the Council for having taken action to ban the sale and use of <br />personal fireworks in the City, stating the action has been helpful to him in <br />attempting to obtain support for a similar ban in the unincorporated part of <br />the County. <br />Supervisor Nolan commended Vice Mayor Mosher and Councilman Rhodes for their <br />years of service to the City.
