Revi ew st at us of Mar i na Su b-A re a <br /> <br />(1401-04) <br /> <br />Report: <br /> <br />City Manager 4/25/86 <br /> <br />Executive Director Smith presented the subject report and commented and <br />repl i e:I to questi ons rel ati ng to the vari ety of next steps avai 1 abl e for the <br />Mari na Sub-Area contai red in the report. <br /> <br />JéJT1es Kuebelbeck, Diversified Marina Enterprises (DME), 811 Veterans <br />Boulevard, pointed out that a mixed use which included housing was included <br />in the Excl usi ve Right to Negoti ate document whi ch he hol ds but housi ng is <br />no longer to be included. Mr. Kuebelbeck also pointed out that the <br />Waterfront Committee stated that they did not want residential use included, <br />but did not offer a plan for what might be desired. He referred to Mr. <br />Smith's letter to him of April 19, 1985, stating that DME has a considerable <br />investment in the Marina Sub-Area and would like to develop a plan that is <br />acceptable to the City before the Exclusive Right to Negotiate expires on <br />December 31, 1986. <br /> <br />Executive Director Smith sLggested a short-term committee composed of those <br />involved might be able to arrive at sufficiently specific guidel ines so that <br />a pl an ca n be prepared by t he end of the year. <br /> <br />Red ev .
