Stangel <br /> <br />August 19, 1986 <br />6:00 p.m. <br /> <br />City Ha 11 <br />Conference Room <br /> <br />REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY <br /> <br />Regular Meeting <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER - 6:00 p.m., Chairman Claire presiding. <br /> <br />Directors present: <br /> <br />Britschgi, Bury, Chandler, Greenalch, Stangel and <br />Cha irman Cl a ire <br /> <br />Directors absent: <br /> <br />LaBerge <br /> <br />Officials and staff present: <br /> <br />Smith, Schroeter <br /> <br />A 1 so pre sent: <br /> <br />James Pollach, Pamela Halch, Larry William of Mardev <br />Corporation and representatives of Sammis Corporation <br /> <br />---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- <br /> <br />GENERAL <br /> <br />1. <br /> <br />Ma rina Sub -are a <br /> <br />( 1401-04 ) <br /> <br />Following discussion of three basic development approaches, is was moved by <br />Chandler, seconded by Greenalch, to have Mardev proceed with the next level <br />of p lann ing for a lternate number 2. <br /> <br />2. <br /> <br />Gateway Sub -area <br /> <br />(1401-02) <br /> <br />Following a discussion of the Gateway Redevelopment Sub-area, it was moved <br />by Britschgi, seconded by Chandler, to accept the concept of the trans- <br />portation terminal being the center of activity with development opportunity <br />areas surrouding the terminal. It was discussed and understood by the Board <br />of Directors that this direction would include essentially the current <br />aligment of Franklin Street, but could preclude the development of the <br />Safeway Store. <br /> <br />--------------------------------------------------------------------------------- <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />Upon motion du ly made and seconded the Redevelopment Agency adjourned at <br />8:30 p.m. <br /> <br />James M.
