MINUTE ORDER <br /> CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br /> <br /> May 6, 2002 <br /> MO. 02-114 <br /> <br />CITY CLERK DEPARTMENT <br />Redwood City <br /> <br />DATE: May 7, 2002 <br /> <br />Attention: City Attorney <br /> Public Works Dept. <br /> <br />SUBJECT: By motion authorize the purchase of two used passenger <br /> vehicles from Enterprise Car Sales. <br /> <br />Meeting of the Council of the City of Redwood City on May 6, 2002. <br /> <br />Present: Council Member Ruskin, Jordan, Howard, Ira, Pieme, <br />and Mayor Claire <br /> <br />Absent: Hartnett <br /> <br />The following motion was made, carried and entered on the Minutes: <br /> <br />M/S Howard/Pieme Motion for the City Council: (1) Waive the bidding <br />requirements of Redwood City Code, Chapter 2 Article 7, Section 2.76 by <br />affirmative vote of at least five members of the City Council on the grounds that <br />strict compliance with the bidding requirements would not serve the public <br />interest; (2) by motion authorize the purchase of two used passenger vehicles <br />from Enterprise Car Sales of Redwood City, CA in an amount not to exceed <br />$42,8O0.00; <br /> <br />The motion passed by a unanimous roll call vote by all those present. <br /> <br />Patricia S.
