Tran <br />Church of tile r~azarene <br /> <br />GENERAL <br /> <br />1. <br /> <br />Centre Redevelopment Area - Exclusive Right to Negotiate <br />(City Center Development Company) <br /> <br />Report of City Manager 2/3/84 <br /> <br />City ¡'lanager Smith presented a s1 ide of the Chart of Time Operation of <br />the subject agreement indicating events expected to occur at various <br />intervals within the next 730 days. <br /> <br />Lengthy discussion followed and ~r. Smith, City Attorney Schricker,.and <br />Assistant City Attorney Case replied to questions and commented concerning <br />the sources of funds of City Center Development Company (CCDC); the partner- <br />ship arrangements of the three corporations involved (Sunderhaus & Leigh <br />Properties, Brugger Corporation and Lindquist/McNely Company); the adequacy <br />of errors and omission insurance; the possible effect on the City if any <br />partner should withdraw; the provisions for termination of the agreement; <br />what might be termed reasonable delay in failing to meet event dates and the <br />need to evaluate the situation at the time any delay should occur; the rights <br />of CCDC to negotiate with property owners; whether the proposed agreement <br />would affect a property owner's rights to modify a building in the project <br />area; and the fact that no specific plan yet exists, but would be expected <br />vdthin 315 days. <br /> <br />Redev.Agency <br />2/6/84 <br /> <br />MINUTE BOOK NO. 44 <br />Page No. 349 <br />
