MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />Marine World Meeting Room <br />January 12, 1983 <br />Adjourned Meeting <br />The Council of the City of Redwood City was called to order at 8:05 p.m. for an <br />informal neighborhood meeting with the Redwood Shores Homeowners Association, <br />with Mayor Stangel presiding. <br />Councilmen present: Biagi, Britschgi, Bury, Claire, Mosher, <br />and Mayor Stangel <br />Councilmen absent: Rhodes <br />Officials and staff present: Smith, Schricker, Schroeter, Addiego, Vollmayer, <br />Church, Guardino, O'Brien, Irizarry and Reggetts <br />Mayor Stangel introduced the Council members to the audience, and noted that the <br />purpose of the meeting is to hear the concerns of the residents of Redwood <br />Shores. <br />Presentations by Council Members were made as follows: <br />City Finances by Councilman Biagi <br />Redevelopment by Councilman Bury <br />Neighborhood boards by Councilman Mosher <br />Community aesthetics by Councilman Britschgi <br />Ronald MacQuarrie, Chairman of the GID 1 -64 Advisory Committee, presented the Com- <br />mittee's report of January 4, 1983 which contains an analysis and recommendations <br />of the Committee regarding reduction in bond authorization. Mr. MacQuarrie and <br />Councilman Biagi responded to questions from the audience relating to the subject <br />matter of the report. <br />Mayor Stangel announced that the City Council will hold a public hearing on the <br />subject of bond questions at its regular meeting on Monday, January 24, 1983 in <br />the Board of Supervisors Chambers, and that copies of the Advisory Committee <br />report will be made available in the City Clerk's office. <br />ADJOURNMENT <br />The Council adjourned at 10:00 p.m. <br />FRANCES I.
