MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />Board of Supervisors Chambers <br />401 Marshall Street <br />March 7, 1983 <br />CALL TO ORDER - 7:30 p.m., Mayor Stangel presiding <br />Councilmen present: Biagi, Britschgi, Bury, Claire, Mosher, Rhodes <br />and Mayor Stangel <br />Councilmen absent: None <br />Officials and staff present: Smith, Schricker, Tasseff, Hildebrand and Addiego, <br />Schroeter, Vollmayer, Mott, O'Brien, Guardino <br />INVOCATION - Pastor James Anderson <br />Messiah Lutheran Church <br />SPECIAL PRESENTATION: <br />The Members of Girl Scout Senior Troop 2612 and Cadet Troop 2613 presented <br />the Colors, led the Pledge of Allegiance and retreated the Colors. <br />Mayor Stangel read a Proclamation declaring the week of March 6 -12, 1983 <br />"GIRL SCOUTS OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA WEEK" and presented a <br />parchment copy to the Girl Scout representatives. <br />---------------------------------------------------------------------------- - - - - -- <br />BOARD OF EQUALIZATION - GID NO. 1 -64 <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES - January 17 and February 7, 1983 <br />M /S: Biagi /Rhodes to approve the subject Minutes as submitted. <br />Carried unanimously by voice vote, Councilman Rhodes abstaining from the <br />Minutes of January 17. <br />GENERAL <br />1. Public Hearing - Applications for Assessment Adjustment <br />1. through 6. considered 1/17/83 <br />7. Shorebird Solar Corporation, 10900 North Wolfe Road, <br />Cupertino (continued open from 1/17 and 2/7/83) <br />Mayor Stangel stated that the public hearing remains open from January 17 <br />and February 7, 1983. <br />At the request of City Attorney Schricker, all those who expected to <br />testify were sworn by City Clerk Hildebrand. <br />Neil Anderson, Manager of the Real Estate Division of American Appraisal <br />Associates, Oakland, stated that a cost approach was used for the units <br />which were being offered for sale by Shorebird Solar as of March 1, 1982, <br />stating that sales information was provided by Shorebird Solar.
