Public Hearing - Financing plan for Port of Redwood <br />City wharf facilities, including issuance of <br />Certificates of Participation <br />Report of City Attorney 7/22/83 <br />City Attorney Schricker reviewed his report in detail noting the project <br />is a 440 -foot wharf which is to be constructed for use by the United <br />States Geological Survey (USGS) on a shared basis. <br />In response to question, Mr. Schricker said that the obligation of the <br />federal government is such that they must pay fully for the facility and <br />that the agreement is enforceable, even if operations are terminated, <br />adding that title will vest with the Port after ten years while the lease <br />term is 20 years. <br />Reg.Mtg. <br />7/25/83 <br />MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />Board of Supervisors Chambers <br />401 Marshall Street <br />MINUTE BOOK NO. 44 <br />Page No. 189 <br />
