"",S- <br /> <br />SILL RKJOES <br /> <br />Adjourned Meeting of <br />Board of Equalization <br /> <br />The Council of the City of Redwood City met on this date at 7: 30 p.m. in <br />an adjourned meeting from 10:00 a.m., July 19, 1982 as the Board of <br />Directors of General Improvement District No. 1-64 with Vice Chairman <br />Britschgi presiding. <br /> <br />Direc tor s pre sen t: <br /> <br />Biagi, Bury, Claire, Mosher, Rhodes and Vice <br />Chairman Britschgi <br /> <br />Directors absent: <br /> <br />Chairman Stangel <br /> <br />Officials and staff present: District/City Manager Smith, District/City <br />Attorney Schricker, Acting District Assessor Becker, City Clerk <br />Hildebrand and representa tives of American Appraisal Associa tes, Inc. <br /> <br />PUBLIC HEARING <br /> <br />Councilman Rhodes reported he had adjourned the meeting scheduled for <br />10:00 a.m. on this day for lack of a quorum and continued the hearing <br />until the present time. <br /> <br />Vice Chairman Britschgi declared the public hearing on the District <br />Assessment Roll 1982-83 open. <br /> <br />City Clerk Hildebrand reported the Affidavit of Publication of Notice of <br />Hearing is on file. <br /> <br />District Manager Smith reported that no ~ritten verified applications for <br />reduction of assessment of property have been received, noting that the <br />deadline for submission of such applications is September 15, 1982. <br /> <br />Acting District Assessor Becker presented the District Assessment Roll <br />1982-83. <br /> <br />Roger Torkelson, American Appraisal Associates, Inc., replied to <br />questions relating to specific properties and increased values. <br /> <br />Mr. Becker stated that the appraiser has provided a summary of <br />information which he will use as the basis for providing additional <br />information relating to assessment of commercial and residential <br />properties as requested by Council. <br /> <br />M/S: Biagi/Rhodes to continue the public hearing open until 7:30 p.m., <br />Monday, August 9, 1982 at which time the requested more detailed <br />information from the appraiser and from staff will be available for <br />considera tion. <br /> <br />Carried unanimously by voice vote. <br /> <br />MINUTE ORDER NO. 82-119 <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />M/S: Rhodes/Biagi to adjourn to 7: 30 p. m., August 9, 1982 to the Board <br />of Supervisors Chambers, 401 Marshall Street. <br />Carried unanimously by voice vote. <br /> <br />JACQUELINE C.
