<br />ORIG~~!AL <br /> <br />8 <br /> <br />AGREEMENT <br /> <br />PROFESSIONAL CONSULTING ENGINEERING SERVICES - <br />REDWOOD SHORES TRAFFIC IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT <br /> <br />THIS AGREEMENT, made and entered into this ,~~ day of <br /> <br />~'-r <br /> <br />, 1999, by and between the CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, a <br /> <br />municipal corporation of the State of California, ("City"), and CCS PLANNING <br /> <br />AND ENGINEERING, INC. of San Ramon, California ("Consultant"); <br /> <br />WITNESSETH: <br /> <br />WHEREAS, City requires the improvements of roadways and traffic <br /> <br />systems at various locations throughout the Redwood Shores area in the City of <br /> <br />Redwood City (the "Project"); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, in connection with the Project, the City requires professional <br /> <br />consulting engineering services; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Consultant represents that it possesses the experience, and <br /> <br />is qualified to perform the aforesaid services for the Project; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the parties hereto agree as follows: <br /> <br />1. CONSULTANT'S SERVICES. Consultant shall perform consulting <br /> <br />engineering and related services described in Exhibit "A" hereof, attached hereto <br /> <br />and by this reference incorporated herein. <br /> <br />2. COMPENSATION: EXPENSES: PAYMENT.
