<br />0 RIG I N A L DES:djk 1)5/18/93 <br /> <br />(082/34) <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />11996 <br /> <br />---------- <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br />AGREEMENT RELATING TO PREPARATION OF AREA PLAN FOR <br />SOUTHEASTERLY PORTION OF DOWNTOWN NEIGHBORHOOD <br /> <br />(LCP ASSOCIATES) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City desires the preparation of <br /> <br />an area plan to examine the potential land uses, circulation, and <br /> <br />design criteria for the area bounded by Jefferson Avenue, Maple <br /> <br />Street, <br /> <br />El <br /> <br />Camino <br /> <br />Real <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />Middlefield <br /> <br />Road <br /> <br />in <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />City <br /> <br />of <br /> <br />Redwood City, California (the "Project"); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />in <br /> <br />connection <br /> <br />with <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />Project, <br /> <br />City <br /> <br />requires <br /> <br />professional land use planning and urban design services; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, LCP Associates of Los Altos, California represents <br /> <br />that it is qualified on the basis of experience and expertise to <br /> <br />perform the aforesaid services required for the Project; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />That certain agreement entitled "Agreement - Preparation of <br /> <br />an Area Plan" <br /> <br />(form dated 05/18/93), by and between the City of <br /> <br />Redwood City, a municipal corporation of the State of California <br /> <br />and LCP Associates, <br /> <br />for the performance of the above-mentioned <br /> <br />services, a copy of which agreement is on file in the office of <br /> <br />the City Clerk, to which copy reference is hereby made for the <br /> <br />full particulars thereof, is hereby approved and the City Manager <br /> <br />and City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to execute and <br /> <br />to attest thereto, respectively, said agreement for and on behalf <br /> <br />of the City of Redwood City. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />..0. .."----...,...-.....-.,,...,,"...
