<br />DES:djk 05/18/93 <br /> <br />(060/34) <br /> <br />0 RIG I N A L <br /> <br />5/24/93 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />11992 <br /> <br />---------- <br /> <br />RESOLUTION VACATING NON-ACCESS RESTRICTION OVER A <br />PORTION OF A PUBLIC STREET (REDWOOD SHORES PARKWAY) IN <br />THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY IN ACCORDANCE WITH PART 3 OF <br />DIVISION 9, STREETS AND HIGHWAYS CODE OF THE STATE OF <br />CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Part 3 (commencing at <br /> <br />§8300) <br /> <br />of Division 9 of the Streets and Highways Code of the <br /> <br />State of California, the Council of the City of Redwood City by <br /> <br />its Resolution No. <br /> <br />11967, adopted April 26, <br /> <br />1993, declared its <br /> <br />intention <br /> <br />to <br /> <br />vacate <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />hereinafter <br /> <br />described <br /> <br />non-access <br /> <br />restriction along a portion of Redwood Shores Parkway in the City <br /> <br />of Redwood City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Sections 8322 and 8323 of the Streets <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />Highways <br /> <br />Code, <br /> <br />notice <br /> <br />of <br /> <br />intention <br /> <br />to <br /> <br />vacate <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />abovementioned <br /> <br />non-access <br /> <br />restriction <br /> <br />has <br /> <br />been <br /> <br />published <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />posted; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />said public <br /> <br />hearing has <br /> <br />been held <br /> <br />and evidence <br /> <br />taken; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. <br /> <br />This <br /> <br />Council <br /> <br />hereby <br /> <br />finds <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />declares <br /> <br />that <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />hereinafter described non-access restriction is unnecessary for <br /> <br />present or prospective public purposes and hereby orders said <br /> <br />non-access restriction vacated. <br /> <br />2. <br /> <br />The non-access restriction to be vacated is described <br /> <br />in Exhibit "A" and depicted in Exhibit "B" hereof, which Exhibits <br /> <br />are attached hereto and by this reference incorporated herein. <br />
