<br />DES:djkO4/28/93 <br /> <br />(074/34) <br /> <br />0 RIG I N A L <br /> <br />5/10/93 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />---------- <br /> <br />11978 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF GRANT <br />OF EASEMENTS TO SOUTH BAYSIDE SYSTEM AUTHORITY FOR A <br />SANITARY SEWER LINE AND PUMP STATION <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City is a member agency of the <br /> <br />South Bayside System Authority <br /> <br />("SBSA"), a public agency, which <br /> <br />provides sanitary sewerage transmission, pumping, <br /> <br />treatment and <br /> <br />disposal services to this City and other member agencies; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the SBSA requires easements for a sanitary sewer <br /> <br />line and pump station over and across real property owned by the <br /> <br />City of Redwood City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this Council desires to grant such easements; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. <br /> <br />This Council hereby approves <br /> <br />a grant of easement or <br /> <br />easements <br /> <br />to the <br /> <br />SBSA for <br /> <br />a <br /> <br />sanitary <br /> <br />sewer <br /> <br />line and <br /> <br />sanitary <br /> <br />sewer pump station over and across all that certain real property <br /> <br />in the City of Redwood City, <br /> <br />County of San Mateo, <br /> <br />California, <br /> <br />described in Exhibit "A" hereof, attached hereto and depicted on <br /> <br />that plat marked Exhibit <br /> <br />"B" <br /> <br />hereof, <br /> <br />attached hereto, <br /> <br />both 0 f <br /> <br />which Exhibits are incorporated herein by this reference. <br /> <br />2. <br /> <br />The Mayor <br /> <br />and City Clerk <br /> <br />are <br /> <br />hereby <br /> <br />authorized <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />directed <br /> <br />to <br /> <br />execute, <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />to <br /> <br />attest <br /> <br />thereto, <br /> <br />respectively, <br /> <br />a <br /> <br />conveyancing document or documents (in form approved by the City <br /> <br />Attorney) <br /> <br />for <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />aforementioned <br /> <br />grant <br /> <br />of <br /> <br />easements <br /> <br />and, <br /> <br />therefore, <br /> <br />the City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to <br /> <br />transmit said grant of easements to the SBSA for acceptance. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br />
