<br />NOTICE OF PFPT,IC HEARING DES:mCTl 04/21/93 (071/34) <br />04/26/93R <br />"NOTICE OF INTENT TO VACATE A fORTI ON OF REDWOOD SHORES PARKWAJ. ,I <br /> <br />0 RIG I N A L <br /> <br />4/26/93 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N 0 <br /> <br />11967 <br /> <br />---------- <br /> <br />RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO VACATE NON-ACCESS <br />RESTRICTION OVER A PORTION OF A PUBLIC STREET (REDWOOD <br />SHORES PARKWAY) IN ACCORDANCE WITH PART 3 OF DIVISION <br />9, STREETS AND HIGHWAYS CODE OF THE STATE OF <br />CALIFORNIA; SETTING TIME AND PLACE FOR HEARING ALL <br />PERSONS INTERESTED IN OR OBJECTING TO THE PROPOSED <br />VACATION; AND ORDERING PUBLICATION AND POSTING OF <br />NOTICE THEREOF <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a non-access restriction here fore relinquished and <br /> <br />dedicated over a portion of Redwood Shores Parkway, <br /> <br />a public <br /> <br />street <br /> <br />in the <br /> <br />Ci ty of <br /> <br />Redwood Ci ty , <br /> <br />is <br /> <br />no <br /> <br />longer <br /> <br />needed <br /> <br />to <br /> <br />restrict access to and across said street; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Redwood City intends to <br /> <br />vacate said non-access restriction pursuant to the provisions of <br /> <br />Part <br /> <br />3 <br /> <br />of <br /> <br />Division <br /> <br />9 <br /> <br />(commencing with <br /> <br />Section <br /> <br />8300) <br /> <br />of <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />Streets and Highways Code; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. <br /> <br />This Council hereby declares its intention to vacate <br /> <br />that certain non-access <br /> <br />restriction to and over <br /> <br />a portion of <br /> <br />Redwood Shores Parkway in the City of Redwood City hereinafter <br /> <br />more specifically described, <br /> <br />and hereby elects to proceed with <br /> <br />such vacation pursuant to the provisions of Part 3 of Division 9 <br /> <br />(commencing with Section 8300) of the Streets and Highways Code. <br /> <br />2. <br /> <br />The <br /> <br />non-access <br /> <br />restriction <br /> <br />proposed <br /> <br />hereby <br /> <br />to <br /> <br />be <br /> <br />vacated was established by, and designated on, that certain map <br /> <br />entitled <br /> <br />"Lakeside Subdivision Unit No. <br /> <br />1", <br /> <br />filed November 8, <br /> <br />1989, in Book 121 of Maps at Pages 1-3, Office of the Recorder of <br /> <br />San Mateo County, California, and is more particularly described <br /> <br />"'. ...".......,...-..---,'-..-.......-,.. ---".-.."."'-.----"---""'-,"'-'.-"".."""'.'.'-""""-..- <br />
