<br />0 RIG I N A L <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N N O. <br /> <br />12050 <br /> <br />(8-15-93) <br />8/30/'93 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br />AGREEMENT WITH CATHOLIC CHARITIES OF SAN MATEO COUNTY <br />ADULT DAY SUPPORT CENTER. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Catholic Charities of San Mateo County, has been <br /> <br />established for the principal purpose being to serve, empower, and <br />advocate on behalf of the poor, frail and needy. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Catholic Charities has requested financial assistance for <br />use by it in conducting its activities during the fiscal year commencing <br /> <br />July 1, 1993 and ending June 30, 1994; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has reviewed said request and <br /> <br />desires to pay to Catholic Charities the sum of THREE-THOUSAND THREE- <br />HUNDRED SIXTY AND NO/100 DOLLARS ($3,310.00); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, there has been presented to this Council for approval an <br />agreement between the City of Redwood City and Catholic Charities Of San <br /> <br />Mateo County and it is the intention and desire of this Council to <br /> <br />approve the same; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS <br /> <br />FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />That certain agreement (form dated 8/15/93), by and between <br />the City of Redwood City and Catholic Charities of San Mateo County, <br /> <br />a copy of which agreement is on file in the Office of the City <br /> <br />Clerk, to which copy reference is hereby made for full particulars <br />thereof, is hereby approved, and the City Manager is hereby authorized <br /> <br />and directed to execute the same for and on behalf of the City of <br />Redwood City. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />,,-- .__._.._-.----._------_..._--------_.-~------ .--.------- - .---- <br />
