<br />0 RIG I N A L <br /> <br />(8-15-.,J) <br />12047 <br /> <br />8/30/93 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br />AGREEMENT WITH THE COUNTY OF SAN MATEO - AGING & ADULT SERVICES <br />PROGRAM (R.S.V.P.) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the the County of San Mateo, Aging and Adult Services, <br /> <br />Retired Senior Volunteer Program has been established for the principal <br />purpose of providing volunteer placement services for senior citizens in the <br /> <br />City of Redwood City; and <br />WHEREAS, the County of San Mateo, Aging and Adult Services, <br /> <br />Retired Senior Volunteer Program has requested financial assistance for use <br />by it in conducting its activities during the fiscal year commencing <br /> <br />July 1, 1993 and ending June 30, 1994; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has reviewed said request and <br /> <br />desires to pay to the County of San Mateo, Aging and Adult Services, <br /> <br />Retired Senior Volunteer Program the sum of TWO-THOUSAND NINE-HUNDRED <br />AND NO/IOO DOLLARS ($2,900.00); and. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, there has been presented to this Council for approval an <br />agreement between the City of Redwood City and the County of San Mateo, <br /> <br />Aging and Adult Services, Retired Senior Volunteer Program, and it is the <br />intention and desire of this Council to approve the same; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS <br /> <br />FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />That certain agreement (form dated 8-15-93), by and between <br />the City of Redwood City and San Mateo County, Aging and Adult Services <br /> <br />Retired Senior Volunteer Program (R.S.V.P.), a copy of which agreement is on <br />file in the office of the City Clerk, to which copy reference is hereby made <br /> <br />for full authorized and directed to execute the same for and on behalf of the <br /> <br />City of Redwood City. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />.. .... .
