<br />FXS:dft - ~7/93 (007g/35) <br /> <br />0 RIG I N A L <br /> <br />8/16/93 <br /> <br />R E ~ 0 L U T ! 0 N N O. 12042 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION <br />OF AGREEMENT WITH SHELTER NETWORK OF SAN MATEO <br />COUNTY <br /> <br />(REDWOOD FM1ILY HOUSE <br />TRADITIONAL HOUSING PROGRAM) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Shelter Network of San Mateo County ("Contractor") <br /> <br />conducts a traditional housing program for homeless families of <br />the City of Redwood City (the "Program"); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />Contractor has requested financial assistance in <br /> <br />order to conduct the Program during the fiscal year commencing <br /> <br />July 1, 1993, and ending June 30, 1994; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has reviewed said request <br /> <br />and desires to allocate to Contractor, the sum of Seventy Five <br /> <br />Thousand <br /> <br />and No/lOO <br /> <br />Dollars <br /> <br />($75,000.00) <br /> <br />from <br /> <br />its <br /> <br />Community <br /> <br />Development Block Grant funds for the foregoing purposes; and <br />WHEREAS, an agreement providing for such funding has been <br /> <br />presented to, and reviewed by, this Council; and <br />WHEREAS, it is the intention and desire of this Council to <br /> <br />approve said agreement and authorize its execution; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />That certain agreement entitled, <br /> <br />"Shelter Network of San <br /> <br />Mateo <br /> <br />County <br /> <br />(Redwood <br /> <br />Family <br /> <br />House <br /> <br />Transitional <br /> <br />Housing <br /> <br />Program)", <br /> <br />(form dated 7/27/93), <br /> <br />by and between the City of <br /> <br />Redwood City and Shelter Network of San Mateo County, a copy of <br />
