<br />FXS:dft <br /> <br />7/28/93 (007/35) <br /> <br />0 RIG I N A L <br /> <br />8/16/93 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />12039 <br /> <br />---------- -- <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br />AGREEMENT WITH CATHOLIC CHARITIES ADULT DAY CENTER <br /> <br />(ADULT DAY SUPPORT SERVICES <br />FOR REDWOOD CITY SENIORS) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Catholic Charities Adult Day Center ("Contractor") <br />conducts an adult day support services program for Redwood City <br /> <br />seniors of the City of Redwood City (the "Program"); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Contractor has requested financial assistance in <br />order to conduct the Program during the fiscal year commencing <br /> <br />July 1, 1993, and ending June 30, 1994; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has reviewed said request <br /> <br />and desires to allocate to Contractor, the sum of Five Thousand <br /> <br />and No/IOO Dollars <br /> <br />($5,000.00) <br /> <br />from its Community Development <br /> <br />Block Grant funds for the foregoing purposes; and <br />WHEREAS, an agreement providing for such funding has been <br /> <br />presented to, and reviewed by, this Council; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is the intention and desire of this Council to <br /> <br />approve said agreement and authorize its execution; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />That certain agreement entitled, "Catholic Charities Adult <br /> <br />Day <br /> <br />Center <br /> <br />(Adult <br /> <br />Day <br /> <br />Support <br /> <br />Services <br /> <br />for <br /> <br />Redwood <br /> <br />City <br /> <br />Seniors)", <br /> <br />(form dated 7/27/93), <br /> <br />by and between the City of <br /> <br />Redwood City and Catholic Charities Adult Day Care Center, a copy <br />of which agreement is on file in the office of the City Clerk, to <br /> <br />._.__.__._-_.,-----.~.....- <br />
