<br />FXS:dft <br /> <br />7J28/93 (007a/35) <br /> <br />0 RIG I N A L <br /> <br />8/16/93 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />NO. 12038 <br /> <br />---------- <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION <br />OF AGREEMENT WITH PENINSULA VOLUNTEERS, INC. <br /> <br />(ADULT DAY SUPPORT SERVICES <br />FOR REDWOOD CITY SENIORS) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Peninsula Volunteers, Inc., ("Contractor") conducts <br /> <br />an adult day support services program for Redwood City seniors of <br />the City of Redwood City (the "Program"); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />Contractor has requested financial assistance in <br /> <br />order to conduct the Program during the fiscal year commencing <br /> <br />July 1, 1993, and ending June 30, 1994; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has reviewed said request <br /> <br />and desires to allocate to Contractor, the sum of Five Thousand <br /> <br />and No/IOO Dollars <br /> <br />($5,000.00) <br /> <br />from its Connnunity Development <br /> <br />Block Grant funds for the foregoing purposes; and <br />WHEREAS, an agreement providing for such funding has been <br /> <br />presented to, and reviewed by, this Council; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is the intention and desire of this Council to <br /> <br />approve said agreement and authorize its execution; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />That <br /> <br />certain <br /> <br />agreement <br /> <br />entitled, <br /> <br />"Peninsula <br /> <br />Volunteers, <br /> <br />Inc. <br /> <br />(Adul t Day Support <br /> <br />Services <br /> <br />for Redwood City Seniors)", <br /> <br />(form dated 7/27/93), by and between the City of Redwood City and <br /> <br />Peninsula Volunteers, Inc., a copy of which agreement is on file <br /> <br />.-........-.... .__d_.. <br />
