<br />FXS:dft <br /> <br />7'27/93 (007d/35) <br /> <br />0 RIG I N A L <br /> <br />8/16/93 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />12036 <br /> <br />---------- -- <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br />AGREEMENT WITH MENTAL HEALTH ASSOCIATION OF SAN <br />MATEO COUNTY <br /> <br />(SPRING STREET SHELTER) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />Mental <br /> <br />Health <br /> <br />Association <br /> <br />of <br /> <br />San Mateo <br /> <br />County <br /> <br />("Contractor") conducts an emergency shelter program for homeless <br />residents with mental disabilities in the City of Redwood City <br /> <br />(the "Program"); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />Contractor has requested financial assistance in <br /> <br />order to conduct the Program during the fiscal year commencing <br /> <br />July 1, 1993, and ending June 30, 1994; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has reviewed said request <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />desires <br /> <br />to <br /> <br />allocate <br /> <br />to <br /> <br />Contractor, <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />sum <br /> <br />of <br /> <br />Fifteen <br /> <br />Thousand <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />No/IOO <br /> <br />Dollars <br /> <br />($15,000.00) <br /> <br />from <br /> <br />its <br /> <br />Community <br /> <br />Development Block Grant funds for the foregoing purposes; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, an agreement providing for such funding has been <br /> <br />presented to, and reviewed by, this Council; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is the intention and desire of this Council to <br /> <br />approve said agreement and authorize its execution; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />That certain agreement entitled, "Mental Health Association <br /> <br />of <br /> <br />San <br /> <br />Mateo <br /> <br />County <br /> <br />(Spring <br /> <br />Street <br /> <br />Shelter)", <br /> <br />(form <br /> <br />dated <br /> <br />7/27/93), by and between the City of Redwood City and Mental <br /> <br />Health Association of San Mateo County, a copy of which agreement <br />
