<br />DUPLICATE <br />ORIGINAL <br /> <br />ABATEMENT SERVICES AGREEMENT <br /> <br />The SAN MATEO COUNTY MOSQUITO ABATEMENT DISTRICT ("District") and CITY OF <br />REDWOOD CITY ("Owner") agree as follows: <br /> <br />1. The District will perform abatement services for the Owner's problem site as described below. <br />The District will, as reasonably necessary, develop and implement mosquito surveillance and <br />control activities with its own personnel, materials and equipment at the problem site. <br /> <br />2. Problem site: The catch basin storm drain system in the presently developed areas of <br />Redwood Shores. <br /> <br />3. Owner shall reimburse District at a rate of$50.00 per hour. Man-hours will not exceed 650 <br />hours and along with the cost of materials will not exceed $35,000. The District will bill <br />Owner for actual services rendered. Owner will pay for such services within 30 days of receipt <br />of each bill. <br /> <br />4. The occurrence of any unusual problems that would require additional manpower, equipment <br />and materials, will necessitate a change order as an addendum to this agreement. It is <br />understood that any changes would be mutually agreed to prior to the initiation of the order. <br />All additional costs related to change orders would be negotiated separately. <br /> <br />5. This agreement shall be effective July 1, 2005 through June 30, 2006. Either party may <br />terminate the agreement upon 30 days written notice to the other party. <br /> <br />6.
