<br />11/05/2003 11:17 <br /> <br />5502519102 <br /> <br />RWC CITY CLERK <br /> <br />PAGE 02 <br /> <br />OR\GINAL <br /> <br />AGREEMENT <br />KIDANGO <br /> <br />Quality Affordable Early Care And Education For <br />Children From Low-Income Families <br /> <br />THIS AGREEMENT, made and entered into this fÞ~ day of Nð\f~k. <br /> <br /> <br />'2003, by and between the CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, a charter city and municipal <br /> <br />corporation of the State of California ('ICitt) and Kidango, a California nonprofit <br /> <br />organization ('IContractor") (collectively the "Parties"). <br />WITNESSETH: <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Contractor provides quality affordable early care and education for <br />children from low-income families; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Contractor has requested financIal assistance in order to conduct <br />the program described in the attached Exhibit B (Contract Objectives), which is <br /> <br />incorporated herein by this reference (the "Program"), for residents of City during the <br />fiscal year commencíng July 1,2003, and ending June 30,2004; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, City Council has reviewed Contractor's request; finds that providing <br />the financial assistance will benefit Redwood City and its citizens; and, desires to <br /> <br />allocate to Contractor the sum of Five Thousand and no/100 Dollars ($5,000). <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the Parties hereby agree as follows: <br /> <br />1. <br /> <br />FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE. City will allocate to Contractor the sum of Five <br /> <br />Thousand and no/100 Dollars ($5,000) for exclusive use by Contractor during the fiscal <br />year commencing July 1, 2003, and ending June 30, 2004, solely for the purposes <br /> <br />described in Paragraph 2, <br /> <br />9(11/03 <br /> <br />...._....... --"'T <br />
