<br />AGREEMENT <br /> <br />Operation Brown Bag <br /> <br />O~6'ú1 <br />I Jt1( <br /> <br />Second Harvest Food Bank <br /> <br />THIS AGREEMENT, made and entered into this Z 3 day of Illa'( cn , <br />20œ.'bFand between the CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, a charter city and municipal <br />corporation of the State of California ("City") and Second Harvest Food Bank, a <br /> <br />California nonprofit organization ("Contractor") (collectively the "Parties"). <br />WITNESSETH: <br /> <br />WHE:n=AS, ContmctOí provides provides food to very low-income seniors: and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Contractor has requested financial assistance in order to conduct <br />the program described in the attached Exhibit B (Contract Objectives), which is <br /> <br />incorporated herein by this reference (the "Program"), for residents of City during the <br />fiscal year commencing July 1,2003, and ending June 30,2004; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, City Council has reviewed Contractor's request; finds that providing <br /> <br />the financial assistance will benefit Redwood City and its citizens; and, desires to <br />allocate to Contractor the sum of Five Thousand no/100 Dollars and no/100 Dollars <br /> <br />($5,000). <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the Parties hereby agree as follows: <br /> <br />1. <br /> <br />FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE. City will allocate to Contractor the sum of Five <br /> <br />Thousand and no/100 Dollars ($5,000) for exclusive use by Contractor during the fiscal <br />year commencing July 1, 2003, and ending June 30, 2004, solely for the purposes <br /> <br />described in Paragraph 2. <br /> <br />2. <br /> <br />USE OF FUNDS. <br /> <br />Contractor will use the funds provided pursuant to <br /> <br />Paragraph 1 solely for the Program purposes described in Exhibits A (Budget) & B. <br /> <br />9/11/03 <br /> <br />"""__".m~. ---...,.-."""u <br />
