DAS:mm~2/6/89R <br /> <br /> ORIGINAL <br /> AGREEMENT <br /> <br /> FOR CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT ENGINEERING SERVICES <br /> WATER STORAGE RESERVOIR NO. 2 REDWOOD SHORES <br /> REDWOOD CITY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> THIS AGREEMENT, made and entered into this /0~ day of <br /> 7 , 1989, by and between the CITY OF REDWOOD <br /> <br />CITY, unicipal corporation of the State of California, <br /> <br />hereinafter referred to as "CITY", and KENNEDY/JENKS/CHILTON, <br />Palo Alto, California, hereinafter referred to as "CONSULTANT". <br /> <br /> W I TN E S S E T H : <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, City plans to construct certain water storage <br />reservoir improvements to its water system at Redwood Shores; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, City desires to engage a consultant to perform <br />certain engineering services, including, but not limited to, <br />construction management services for said improvements; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Consultant has represented to City that it is <br />qualified and experienced to perform all of the services referred <br />to in this Agreement; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual covenants, <br />agreements, and conditions contained herein, the parties hereto <br />do hereby agree as follows: <br /> <br />1. CONSULTANT'S SERVICES. The scope of work shall include <br />all the necessary and appropriate professional and technical <br />services for construction management detailed in the "Scope of <br /> <br />Engineering Services - Construction Management for - Water <br /> <br /> <br />
