<br />A1fACUMGrJ"( If <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br /> <br />AGREEMENT <br /> <br />PROFESSIONAL CONSULTING SERVICES - <br />TRAFFIC STUDY/ENVIRONMENTAL ANALYSIS <br />FOR 2300 MIDDLEFIELD ROAD <br /> <br />THIS AGREEMENT, made and entered into this ~'?'C day of <br /> <br />:x~. <br /> <br />, 1999, by and between the CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, a <br /> <br />municipal corporation of the State of California, ("City"), and DKS ASSOCIATES, <br /> <br />of San Jose, California ("Consultant"); <br /> <br />WITNESSETH: <br /> <br />WHEREAS, City requires a traffic study and environmental analysis in <br /> <br />order to understand the traffic impact of a proposed development of a 12 vehicle <br /> <br />fueling position gas station in the parking lot of the existing Costco Warehouse <br /> <br />store on an 11.16 acre site located at 2300 Middlefield Road in the City of <br /> <br />Redwood City (the "Project"); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, in connection with the Project, preparation of a traffic study <br /> <br />and environmental analysis is required pursuant to the California Environmental <br /> <br />Quality Act ("CEQA"; Pub. Res. Code §21000 et seq.), the State Guidelines <br /> <br />implementive thereof ("State CEQA Guidelines"; 14 CCR §15000, et seq.) and <br /> <br />the City's Regulations implementive thereof; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to City's Regulations, City has determined that the <br /> <br />traffic study which is part of said environmental studies and documentation shall <br /> <br />be prepared pursuant to contract entered into with Consultant subject to funding <br /> <br />therefore by Costco Wholesale (the "Developer"); and <br /> <br />Agmt-281 <br />F :/8 h a red/Redwood/Cou n eil <br />F8X:djk <br />07115/99 <br /> <br />1 <br /> <br />0 ',0 HOH .. .....-....."...
