<br />Agreement Number: 02- 73-06-5334- TF <br />Accounting Code: 283- 7306-672 <br /> <br />COOPERATIVE SERVICE AGREEMENT (TRUST FUND) <br />BETWEEN <br />THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY AND <br />UNITED STATES DEPARTMENT OF AGRICULTURE (USDA) <br />ANIMAL AND PLANT HEALTH INSPECTION SERVICE (APHIS) <br />WILDLIFE SERVICES (WS) <br /> <br />TO CONDUCT PREDATOR DAMAGE MANAGEMENT ACTIVITIES <br />AT CITY OF REDWOOD CITY PROPERTIES <br />ON THE REDWOOD SHORES PENINSULA <br /> <br />ARTICLE 1 <br /> <br />The purpose of this Agreement is to conduct a predator management plan to provide protection <br />for endangered species on the area known as Redwood Shores Peninsula "within the 'Public <br />Area' (the "Area") which is defined as public area owned by the City (other than proprietary <br />areas) and includes any public street, alley, highway, right-of-way, and public pedestrian and <br />vehicular-easement" Work will be principally conducted on the exterior levee segments that <br />have restricted public access. <br /> <br />ARTICLE 2 <br /> <br />Authority exists under the Animal Damage Control Act of March 2, 1931 (7 US.c. <br />426-246b-246c) and the Rural Development, Agriculture, and Related Agencies Appropriations <br />Act, 1988 (P.L. 100202) for WS to cooperate with States, individuals, public and private <br />agencies, organizations, and institutions in the management of wild mammals and birds injurious <br />to wildlife and human health and safety. <br /> <br />ARTICLE 3 <br /> <br />The predator management activities will be conducted in accordance with the Scope of Work <br />(Attachment I) and the Budget Plan (Attachment 2). <br /> <br />lof4 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br />
