<br />DES:djk °7/12/93 <br /> <br />(097/34) <br /> <br />0 RIG I N A L <br /> <br />7/19/93 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />NO. 12014 <br /> <br />---------- <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING CONTRACT DOCUMENTS FOR THE <br />DEMOLITION OF STRUCTURE LOCATED AT 1006 MIDDLEFIELD <br />ROAD; AND AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING ADVERTISEMENT FOR <br />BIDS THEREFOR <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />contract <br /> <br />documents <br /> <br />for <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />demolition <br /> <br />of <br /> <br />that <br /> <br />certain structure <br /> <br />(former Chamber of Commerce Building) <br /> <br />located <br /> <br />at 1006 Middlefield Road, <br /> <br />Redwood City, <br /> <br />California, <br /> <br />have been <br /> <br />presented to, and reviewed by, this Council; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />this <br /> <br />Council <br /> <br />desires <br /> <br />to <br /> <br />signify <br /> <br />its <br /> <br />approval <br /> <br />thereof and authorize and direct the City Clerk to advertise for <br /> <br />bids for the work therein described; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. <br /> <br />Those <br /> <br />certain <br /> <br />contract <br /> <br />documents <br /> <br />entitled <br /> <br />"Contract <br /> <br />Documents for the Demolition of Building at 1006 Middlefield Road <br /> <br />- City of Redwood City, California", prepared by the Department <br /> <br />of Community Development, Engineering Division, a copy of which <br /> <br />documents are on file in the office of the City Clerk, are hereby <br /> <br />approved. <br /> <br />2. <br /> <br />The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to <br /> <br />advertise for bids for the performance of the work of improvement <br /> <br />hereinabove described. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />..
