<br />DES:di.]( 06/10/93 <br /> <br />(088/34) <br /> <br />0 RIG I N A L <br /> <br />6/21/93 <br /> <br />- - - -.- - - - - - <br /> <br />12001 <br /> <br />RES 0' L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR THE LENOLT/TACOMA VICINITY <br />SEWER SYSTEM REHABILITATION PROJECT; AUTHORIZING <br />EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT FOR SAID WORK; AND DIRECTING <br />RETURN OF SECURITY DEPOSITS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 11977, adopted May 10, <br /> <br />1993, the City Clerk advertised for bids for the Lenolt/Tacoma <br /> <br />'. <br />Vicinity Sewer System Rehabilitation Project; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />pursuant to <br /> <br />said advertisement, <br /> <br />seven bids were <br /> <br />received for the performance of said work and filed with the City <br /> <br />Clerk; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />D.R. <br /> <br />Redick <br /> <br />Underground <br /> <br />Construction, <br /> <br />Inc. , <br /> <br />of <br /> <br />Hayward, California, is the lowest responsible bidder and it is <br /> <br />the intention and desire of this Council to award said bid to <br /> <br />D.R. Redick Underground Construction, Inc.; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. <br /> <br />The bid of D.R. Redick Underground Construction, Inc., <br /> <br />in the amount of One Hundred Sixty-six Thousand Five Hundred <br /> <br />Eighty-four <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />50/100 <br /> <br />Dollars <br /> <br />($166,584.50) , <br /> <br />computed <br /> <br />in <br /> <br />accordance with said bidder's proposal dated June 9, <br /> <br />1993, <br /> <br />for <br /> <br />the Lenol t/Tacoma Vicinity Sewer System Rehabilitation proj ect, <br /> <br />is hereby accepted and said bidder is hereby found and declared <br /> <br />to be the lowest responsible bidder for said work. <br /> <br />2. <br /> <br />That certain agreement entitled "Agreement" (form dated <br /> <br />06/10/93) <br /> <br />by and between the City of Redwood City, a municipal <br /> <br />corporation <br /> <br />of <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />State <br /> <br />of <br /> <br />California <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />D.R. <br /> <br />Redick <br />
